Castle Rock Park in Walnut Creek, CA : We heard that there was a pair of Perregrin Falcons and their chicks at Castle Rock Park so we headed out to spend sometime there today.  The falcons were pretty far away but we did get a nice look at him through our spotting scope and some great shots of birds, butterflies, and flowers while we there.

Palm Springs and Indio, CA : What a fun journey it was going to Stagecoach Music Festival 2008 in Indio, CA.  We got to hang out with our friends at out Trendwest Condo, meet some new friends (ducks, blue bellies, etc), ride the Palm Springs Air Tram, rub elbows with some awesome country music musicians and bands, and get to just hang out!  Drew - we missed you!  You have to go with us next time.

Santa Catalina Island : Beautiful turquoise waters, Garibaldi fish, palm trees, 70 degree weather, golf carts, Bald Eagles, Bison, flowers, birds, snorkeling, and just plain fun!  Catalina Island is a wonderful place to be!

Heather Farms Park in Walnut Creek, CA : Heather Farms Park in Walnut Creek, California has a nice little pond with lots of ducks and geese.  It has a beautiful rose garden and gazebo and several water fountains and water falls.  It is a great place for kids to play (kids of ALL ages). It is located in Contra Costa County. A great place to see hummingbirds too!
